Beyond the instruments, RUSH's Fifty Something Tour is an arena-scale technical production combining live audio, lighting choreography, cinema-style video, LED imagery, media servers, robotic followspots, lasers, pyro and touring rigging. This page documents the companies, crew and technology behind the show โ separating confirmed information from equipment still being researched.
The Fifty Something touring rig viewed from below. RUSHLore reader-supplied photograph. Exact hardware is identified only where independently confirmed.
๐ Sound
Clair Global
Confirmed crew
The touring audio operation includes Bryan Worthen as Concert Audio / FOH Engineer, Brian Sankus as Audio System Engineer, Daniel Badorine on monitors and Matthew Fox as Monitor System Engineer.
The exact PA loudspeaker family, FOH and monitor consoles, DSP/networking and IEM inventory remain research items; RUSHLore will not infer models simply from a photograph.
๐ก Lighting
Premier Global Production
Confirmed
Howard Ungerleider directs the lighting, with Martin Thomas programming and Ryan Anderson serving as lighting crew chief. Ungerleider has described operating the show live with two boards and thousands of touch cues rather than reducing the performance to a completely rigid sequence.
The production also uses robotic followspots, with lasers and pyro integrated into the wider show.
๐ฅ Video
PRG
Confirmed supplier
Production Resource Group supplies the touring video system. PRG has publicly highlighted its work on the Fifty Something Tour.
The camera package has been reported as using six RED V-RAPTOR XL cinema-camera systems, giving the live imagery a large-format cinematic character rather than a conventional arena-broadcast look.
๐ฅ๏ธ Visual Content
LUZ Studio
Tour credits
LUZ Studio is credited with tour design, VFX and programming. This is distinct from PRG's physical video/LED infrastructure: LUZ develops the visual world and programmed content that the touring video system presents.

What You're Looking At in the Rig Photo
The photograph clearly shows multiple flown line-array speaker hangs, extensive overhead trussing, suspended lighting positions and moving-light fixtures, cable looms and arena rigging. These can be identified by function from the image. Manufacturer and model labels are deliberately withheld until they can be verified from production documentation or supplier reporting.
